IMC has completed harvesting of sunflower and soybean
On the 6 October IMC completed harvesting of oilseeds: sunflower and soybean. Current results have exceeded last year’s figures as well as planned results for the year 2015.
Gross yield of sunflower in 2015 amounted to 2.82 t/ha (gross yield for 2014 - 2.57 t/ha). This year’s sunflower yield in IMC exceeds Ukraine’s average sunflower yield by 33% (according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the average sunflower yield in Ukraine as of October 6, 2015 amounted to 2.11 t/ha on the 84% of the harvested area).
In 2015 IMC significantly increased the yield of soybean. The gross yield of soybean in 2015 is 2.56 t/ha (gross yield for 2014 - 1.69 t/ha).
